Oxygen Oasis Hyperbaric Wellness Center was founded by a wife and husband team โ Victoria Bliss-Calkins and Tom Calkins after witnessing first-hand the healing power that Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) offers.
The Calkinsโ were introduced to HBOT on a personal level when searching for treatment options for the radiation injury that occurred after Tom underwent treatment for stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the tonsil. After completing hyperbaric therapy for delayed radiation injury, Tom regained flexibility in his neck and reduced the frequency of the muscle spasms he endured after his surgery. They felt a calling to help others to find the same ray of hope they found in hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Because Oxygen Oasis Hyperbaric Wellness Center is a free-standing facility, we have the opportunity to treat a spectrum of conditions that may be improved by HBOT including, but not limited to autism, cerebral palsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), PTSD, multiple sclerosis, lyme disease, spinal cord injury, near drowning, fibromyalgia, migraines, sports injuries, pre and post cosmetic surgery and certain cancers, as well as non-healing wounds, radiation injury, and carbon monoxide poisoning.
The large space enables you to stand, sit or lie down easily within the chamber. For those who are reluctant to have hyperbaric therapy because of confinement fears, we offer a program that will gradually prepare you to undergo therapy confidently.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a safe, non-invasive way to promote healing and recovery in patients of all ages by saturating the bodyโs cells with pure oxygen through the use of a pressurized hyperbaric chamber. The therapy involves being in a pressurized chamber while breathing pure oxygen.
