Sol Yoga

SOL Yoga was brought to life by our founder Catherine DeFrancesco.

Nearly 20 years ago, Catherine discovered yoga as a form of movement that was kinder to her body after years of stressful workouts, on top of raising four children and juggling the demands of home and career.

Little did she know the profound impact it would have in all areas of her
life. Over time, she grew to love the practice more and more. She saw and felt physical changes – but it was the emotional transformation that was most profound. Life became less about the hustle, and more about going with the flow. She ate better, slept better and went about life as a busy Mom and entrepreneur with a greater sense of ease.

So profound did yoga change her life, she coined it SOL or the ‘Secret of Life’. After earning her yoga teaching certification, she envisioned owning a studio one day, and would soon open the first SOL Yoga in Wynwood, Miami in 2018.

Despite its name, DeFrancesco says there’s no ‘real secret’ to SOL’s magic, only that it was brought to life to share with others. Because confident women share.
