The Cleveland Flea is a small business incubator that draws thousands of Northeast Ohioans to lesser-known neighborhoods in the city to shop curated vintage, culinary all-stars and the most talented makers in the region. But it’s always been more than just a market.

Each month, the Cleveland Flea welcomes 170+ vendors and 35,000 shoppers to our Tyler Village home, in Cleveland’s AsiaTown neighborhood. Our Sunday Market is a smaller, brunch-themed affair, nestled in Ohio City’s Hingetown pocket.

Vintage and salvage dealers set up shop next to jewelers, fine artists and bakers, furniture crafters and charcuterie makers. The Flea is at once a foodie feast and community gathering place, a weekend excursion in the city and a movement to back a brilliant creative class.

Stephanie Sheldon (Indie Foundry) founded the Cleveland Flea in 2013 as a way to support the makers, dreamers and creative small businesses that call Cleveland home. She wanted to build a means for them to make a living (and to keep making it in Cleveland), while serving up an experience shoppers couldn’t get anyplace else.

What started as a small to-do has grown into big opportunity for creative peeps to take their skills from hobby status to brick-and-mortar storefronts. Why just teach your community to #shopsmall when you can make it irresistible not to? We work hard at being matchmakers — creating authentic connections between shoppers and the businesses they will love, all in a fun and dreamy way.

And we’re so proud of how Cleveland has helped us make creative dreams come true.
